A FEW GOOD CANS

What follows are photographs of a few favorite cans, some of which now adorn my shelves, some of which were (as the song says) simply passin’ through.

Enjoy!

...and now, let’s travel on beyond beer cans, to Paducah, KY, in 1937.

Or what about this? My parents’ basement, 1997, sixty years after the Great Ohio River Flood and several hundred miles from Paducah, but momentous in its own right: this was the day I moved my cans out of their house and into mine.

More old beer-related photographs.

And remember: I WILL PURCHASE YOUR OLD BEER AND SODA CANS!

I’ll buy non-U.S. beer cans, too. Here are some beauties from the United Kingdom, circa 1962. (A still courtesy of Nick West, via Metal Box Can Co.)

Unbelievable cans in that last photo. Valuable, too!

So let me say, just one more time, and at the risk of repeating myself, if you are selling old beer cans or other beer items, I’d love to know what you have.
